Hated Cliché

Here’s another cliché of comics for you: the soundoff.
If you don’t immediately know what I’m getting at, that’s when characters either say their own name or the name of their compatriot (who returns the favor) mid-battle so that the reader knows who the heck they are.
It’s a clunky thing even when well done.
The below is an example of how not to do it.
