In ASM #82, Peter and Gwen are dating. MJ, shameless flirt that she is portrayed as at this time, continues to make passes at Peter.
This is okay with Peter. Gwen also seems to take it in stride, despite catty joking (they’re supposed to be bestest buds).
What is not, apparently, okay, is for someone to hit on the very single MJ in front of Peter.
So? it’s okay for a girl to flirt with an attached guy, but not for an unattached guy to flirt with an unattached girl?
