Superman’s got quite an impressive array of vision powers. So many that he can’t be bothered to come up with names for them all.
As seen here, in example # 329 of “Superman and Batman trick the bad guy by swapping costumes”.

Superman can “telescopically” see into other dimensions (by, one assumes, vibrating his eyes at the right dimensional frequency), and then zero in on his teammates somewhere within that dimension.
That’s one hell of a telescope.
Also, just a quick comment on the costume switching idea… that works out well for Superman, obviously, but what about Batman? The Superman-specific traps are always kryptonite-related, but what if they were red sun, stronger gravity related?
“That’s to Batman and I switching places, I was able to save you all!”
“Yes, but Batman was crushed to death.”
“Yes. A tragedy. Hey Hal, can I try your costume on?”
