Rex “Tic-Tock” Tyler, aka the Hour-Man, is trying to find one of his loyal Minute Men (led by Minute Martin – Rex apparently never met a time reference he didn’t like). Fortunately, the kidnapped youth has managed to leave a note for his drug-addled role model (with sleeping gas, of course. Not his usual pills. HE CAN QUIT ANYTIME HE WANTS, OKAY?) saying where the criminal masterminds will strike next.

I honestly enjoy the Golden Age comics where the good guy is believed to be a criminal. It’s one of the best elements in the Sandman (other than Diane being an ex burglar who can handle herself quite well). In The King serial however, they just can’t make up their mind:

I personally have an issue with “kewl” spelling in comics. You know, calling a character Syrin instead of Siren, or Deathstryke instead of Deathstrike because it looks neat (and is trademarkable in the case of Siren). It’s mostly annoying because, well, how would any of the other characters know how it’s spelled? I mean, they’re talking, right?* So what’s the difference between a Madam Masque and Madam Mask? Nothing.
