Hey all.

I’ve actually had time to do some reading lately, and am trying to “build up” some posts, I’ll likely have them up October, after the Yomim Naroyim (Days of Awe, also known as High Holidays) but before the baby is due (the Days of Awwwww).

On doing my reading I came across the second appearance of Dr. Polaris. Did I ever feature the first one here? I know I read it and clipped it before I lost the files, but it’s from a period I thought I had posted. Yet… I do not see it.

Anyone remember? He’s Jekyl and Hyde, but MAGNETIC. I can’t not use him.

I know I have my own flaws, but this sign has been driving me batty for days.

Which is actually likely a further indication of said flaws, now that I think of it…

Sorry guys, but my life continues to get more and more complicated.

The baby’s due late October, and I still have to finish painting/priming/flooring his/her room. It’s now looking like our car needs work, and we’re still getting out from under the house damage. The insurance company paid as little as possible (of course) leaving me with thousands in costs, and some repairs still pending.

I love doing the blog, but in this stress, something has to give for a bit. I need to concentrate on finding some paying writing work and selling a ton of comics.

I’m not shutting the blog down just yet, but I can’t promise that there’ll be anything resembling regular updates for a while.

Thank you to everyone who’s helped out with donations, with well-wishes, and in the case of Matt, Nick, and Jim, being awesome people withot whom WWTT would not exist.

Here’s hoping next year is better.

Meanwhile, my destroyed bathroom should be 100 percent fixed tonight when I get home. Still fighting with my insurance company over the last couple thousand an am basically having to borrow from our retirement to pay for everything. One the one hand, we’re in our thirties so no big, right? On the other hand, it’s a Bad Idea in general.

So year, life is crazy.

Came home to find our iTunes hacked. Over one hundred and sixty dollars in charged for apps and songs.

Did I do something really bad that I’m being punished for?

As you can see, housework is proceeding apace. I’m impressed by the speed of the workers, and they’ve even found ways to *cut* costs.

Unfortunately, it’s not enough. Looks like everything is going to cost me a bit more than the insurance company wants to pay. And by a bit, I mean oh, a thousand or so. Thankfully I just refied and *have* money for a change (suprise, this isn’t a “hitting up for donations” post). I just had such great other PLANS for that money. Sadness.

I’ve managed to get some reading done this week, and if I get a moment to sit at a desk that’s not at work or doesn’t involve chasing people down about the house, I may have some smart-arse comments to afix and post.

In the meantime, wife, daughter, and soon-to-be-baby-of-unrevealed-gender are all well. School’s almost over for her and then it’s off to camp. Whee.

Hey gang. We’re all fine, and should be back in our house ( w/significant additional work pending) shortly.

I’m going to have to take a short break from WWTT though. There’s a lot of house-work to do, plus preparing for the new baby, plus some offline writing I need to finish.

I have been reading, and have some stuff I’d like to post, but anything like a daily schedule is just not possible right now. I’m going to try to make posts once a week or more, but for now that’s the best I can do.

Hopefully I’ll get enough stockpiled to keep you guys in funny.

I’ll also still be posting to twitter and Facebook is you simply can’t live without me.
