Wonder Woman Recruits
Typo’s Best: Her Origin Gets Odder With Each Retelling.
Hey guys, Matt here. This classic Wonder Woman panel (originally posted March 2007) makes me giggle. I’m not sure if it’s the sewing or the special Amazon nurse training. Maybe it’s that what she’s doing bears no resemblance to sewing in the first place. It’s more like… I don’t know, caulking, but I suppose that isn’t terribly ladylike.
Please note that the below panel is taken from a retelling of WW’s origin. In this scene, she is returning to Man’s World with Steve Trevor. Keep in mind, they’ve just met…

“I’ve daydreamed about sewing Steve’s loose buttons on his shirt?”
Why, exactly, did Stienhem put her on the cover of Ms Magazine, again?
And do nurses normally call learning to stitch a wound “sewing”?
(This issue also features Diana deflecting lightning with her bracelets again, but I figured you guys were tired of seeing that one)
