Oh For Crying Out Loud.

Came home to find our iTunes hacked. Over one hundred and sixty dollars in charged for apps and songs.

Did I do something really bad that I’m being punished for?

It's starting to seem almost like a remake of the Book of Job.

    Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Seriously.

Isn't there any recourse if you act right away?

You do realize that these entries aren't as funny as your old stuff used to be. I'm just saying.

We all go through patches like this. They pass. And then we die, but that's a different story.

    Was playing back, Jack.

I'm just amazed by the ongoing stream of drama, is all.

Believe me, I empathize. We all got stuff. I'm pretty private about my stuff, but trust me, I get the “steady stream” bit!

Did they use your stored credit card in iTunes for the hacking? If so, they are supposed to be insured against unathorized use as a result of robbery, as is your case…

I'm sure you're skillful enough in this matters but I'll risk making a smartass out of myself anyway, do you have a secure password (by secure meaning difficult to decipher: long, containing both uppercase and lowercase text, numbers, etc)?

This things scare the hell out of me, I'm about to read my masther thesis in Computer Science and I've been working in web enterprise application development for years, so I think I'm entitled to say I know a little about the Internet. I do just about everything through it, including banking; and I KNOW web sites from trustworthy companies are generally secure and that breaches in that security are uncommon enough, yet they happen, and there's always that latent fear of either me or someone else doing something wrong, or tha slight chance that somebody is capable of outsmarting all security measures.

My hotmail account was hacked last Friday, and a spam email was sent to all of my contacts (including one ex-wife and two ex-girlfriends).

The gmail account for the admins at reddit.com was hacked yesterday.

So at least be aware you're in good company.
