Taking Some Time Off

I hate doing this, but I’m going to be taking some time off to get to know my new son. That includes reading some old comics “together” at 3am.

I’m planning on coming back in November, with more content, and possibly a new look.

I *will* be back.

All the best.

Take your time and induct him properly 🙂

Seemed kind of a given to me.

Things’ll settle down a bit in awhile.

Then he’ll figure out how to get around by himself, and it’ll start all over again. 🙂

November? Well, that’s only a week away! I think I can live that long. Get to know little Ben, and have a great time doing it!

Take care of your kid. We’ll be here waiting for you.

yes as we have no life or family of our own. Basically we are a bit like the heroes your posts are about, well except for the super powers and fantastic ass (we do were spandex suits).

Actually I thought you were going to take more time off (and nobody would blame you) but it’s great you think of us, you’re other, very needy, children as well. :-)As Ben gets older you can tell him a bunch of comic/internet nerds think you are a cool dad.

Also, nice to finaly read about some positive things happening in your life. Here’s hoping this is only the beginning!

Heck, I just assumed that would be the case. Take all the time you need.

@Typolad: Happy Halloween! What will little Ben be? I’d dress him up as an F-14 so I could call him Benny the Jet. Maybe I’ve just seen The Sandlot too many times.

He’s going to be dressed as a little Jewish boy.

Not at all! It’s my go-to answer.

We spent the afternoon in the Bronx, where his big sister gave out candy to hundreds of trick or treaters (we had a SWARM), while he was held by his grandma and showered with affection.

Sounds like a great time. Halloween was my grandfather’s favorite holiday after the 4th of July (he was a WWI vet), so I have many happy memories of spending it with him.
