Four Day Weekend

Sorry gang, but I was out late at a press event, getting content for MoPocket.com. No WWTT time tonight. I can’t promise anything before the weekend.

Played with some neat tech tonight though, including Sony’s upcoming Android phone. Sweeeeeet.

    It was *very* nice. It was pre-production, so laggy, but the UI was slick and when it did respond it did so quite well. I'm hoping we can score a review unit.

    I don't think they're shooting to be an iPhone killer, especially as SE is usually on AT&T, so it's not like they could claim a better network like Verizon with Droid (and Eris and Omnia II). I think they're just shooting to make a good phone with a great UI.

    I love that you can go on any network these days and get a phone more powerful than my first computer.

    Hmm @ ny's Interop show i got to mess with the new Xperia X10. Although they were pimpin the development kit to use it to mobilize web apps more than anything you could see it has plenty of potential as a consumer feature phone. BTW: video playback was laggy on 480×360 xvid video as well as on h.264 480×360 video.
