A Very Public Apology
I have inadvertently wronged a regular reader, commentor, and more than generous donar to this site.
While the blog was down I set a temp site up at luchins.wordpress.com. In the tumultuous month that has followed, I never posted there that the old site was back up! To add to my idiocy, I haven’t even bothered to check it. Meanwhile, “madwoman” has been checking there daily. I stupidly assumed people were just checking their bookmarks, and didn’t give the temp site a second thought. Plus, to compound the stupidity, I set the comments to email to an address that ISN’T EVEN WORKING NOW (dur!) so I did not see that she had been commenting for days. I also screwed up the people who follow over RSS, and have apparently messed up some people who link with the new URL formats.
I’m very sorry to everyo e, and ESPECIALLY madwoman. I’ve e-mailed her privately, but as I wronged her publicly (in a sense) I thought this the best option.
I also did *not* know that was you last fifty dollars, and would not have accepted the donation had I known this. Please allow me to return it come payday.

Erf. Okay, I'm not really sure whats going on since I never saw that temp site, but now you don't have to wait until payday, whenever that is.

Don't know what Naked Bunny is saying, but a refund of the donation is most certainly not necessary. I enjoy your work and sometimes a person has to help out, especially after what was done to you. Thanks for the apology, though. Now I have to get caught up on everything I have missed!

I only found out the site was back because someone used one of my links to the Green Lantern drinking game (mentioned in one of my articles) to come to the site, and I thought I'd see if it was back up. I think I found the Livejournal via search engine, but didn't know about the WordPress site.

To err is human! After all, you don't have the Martian Manhunter's powers of total martian awareness, nor could you have detected the problem…MAGNETICALLY!!! Air waves would have probably done the trick.

I only just realized that the blog was up today, when, after checking the 404 error at http://luchins.com/wwtt/ for the umpty-umpth time, I realized that, hey, there were ARCHIVE LISTINGS down in the corner.
