Another Great Golden Age Concept

Friday, November 27th, 2009 @ 12:00 am | The Spectre, What Were They Thinking

More fun than comics where the hero is thought to be a crook are the comics where the hero is known to be a hero, but the cops just don’t care. Like this issue of More Fun comics (see what I did there?):

“It’s not that we mind vigilante justice or anything, it’s that he’s making us look bad in the process!”

OMG Shiai-you are on your A game; I shot coffee out of my nose. That hasn't happened in months!
  • They should call Ghostbusters.
  • J'onn D'oh
"I'll capture him if you can make him stay in one spot"? But... if he makes him stay in one spot didn't he capture him?

    Excuse me: "...on one spot..."

Wow...the editor of this comic sucked... "You've got to get arrest the Spectre!"??

I was wondering why I kept tripping over the text there. I thought it was just that I was horribly tired, but...
  • Chief: "You know what else also makes me look bad, Corrigan? The fact that they won't give me a chair for my desk. Oh, and don't even get me started on this jacket...!"
  • Not to mention his crooked hands, the poor fellow.

    That's not a desk - it's the world's smallest swimming pool.
