Doctor Fate does not allow men to mess in things they do not understand. That’s his job:

Sure, Fate could stop him with a blast or something, but that’s nowhere near as fun as crushing him with some random bit of the guys apparatus.

Hmmm… is the plural of apparatus apparati? It should be.

Anyway, Doctor Fate. Bigger dick than Superman. Seriously.

    You have to love the power cord hanging from the super-high-tech-world-conquering-whatever which Dr Fate is about to hurl at Harry. I mean, this kind of things don't usually work with an atomic battery or something?
  • Harry was still quite new at it, don't forget he used to be a magician. Ah, if he only had his wand, he would have kicked Dr. psychopathic asshole's -erhm I mean fate's- ass.

    I don't think that's a doomsday device; to me it looks more like a TV armored to protect it from magical nutjob vigilantes.

    Also, that mask doesn't look like it allows much peripheral vision. If you can get behind him, you could sneak-attack him pretty easily.
  • "Apparatus" is a collective noun. Since it doesn't refer to a specific item, it doesn't pluralize.

    But then that would mean that Voldie or whatever the hell his name is, didn't kill his daddy... Mr. Fate did! or Maybe Mr.Fate IS voldermet.
    Yeah, Mr.Fate is pretty evil as it is... I can totally see him going after the wizarding world. :P
