    Ibis was a stunningly lazily-done superhero. A guy whose costume consists of a hat, whose power comes from a stick. And what IS his power, you may ask? Omnipotence. He can do anything whatsoever at will. Also he was from ancient Egypt, but never felt like an outsider in our society or had any difficulty adjusting to anything. Sure he missed 5000 years of history, but who cares? What’s important is, he’s white.

    Ibis is really cool. If he wanted to, he could kick your ass. But he has other challenges. Like Magical Vikings revived by an evil archaeologist. And an Asian warlord who is so threatening that Churchill, Hitler and Stalin temporarily call off World War II to team up against the new menace. And and and … what if somebody steals the Ibisstick? What then, smart guy? Can he call Gaard to save the day? I DON’T THINK SO!
