Meet Jim Corrigan. He’s going to die a few pages later and be reborn as the Spectre, the wrath of the Almighty. Before that, he’s an engaged cop.

Yeah, you tell her Jim! Don’t let your woman disrespect you as you drive her home in her car like you’re her personal valet or something. She might get ideas.

    It's been comented before, but you just have to love how incredibily espacious were those cars! Also, we've got an interesting martian perspective of the car's inside in panel 3.

    BTW, it was easy enough for a guy to flirt in those days, huh?
