Katma Quits

So why would Katma quit?

See, she was the replacement of Sinestro, the evil Lantern guy.. She was good at it too. There’s just one thing she didn’t expect:

No! Not that. So what did she do next?


Of course. Because one can’t just be in love. One must measure said love. With a machine created by a device that fulfills one’s wishes. Gee, I wonder what her control was…

    O.K. I don’t get it. So, she fell in love with the big head balding guy. So…why exactly does she have to quit the Lanterns because of that? I mean what the heck? I’d think most guys would be happy to have a lover with limitless cosmic power and an ass accentuating costume.

    And Hal’s “Eh?!” really cracks me up for some reason. He don’t seem to bright.

    Hal’s “Eh?” seems to say “What? You mean you fell in love before I met you and had a chance to force you to love me? How could you do such a thing? You should have predicted you’d meet me and fall in love with me!” Or maybe that’s just my interpretation.

    Also, measuring love? Really? You know, there are certain things that you just know. And what does that have to do with your position as a Green Lantern? Though I suppose we’ll find out some tortured reasoning soon.

    The big headed balding guy seems completely freaked out with Katma’s “love-o-meter”. Also, I love the headphones, because everybody knows love tends to overflow through the ears.

    Good Heavens! Are there really such devices? Does anybody need to know THAT besides your doc if, and only if, one’s got a problem THERE?

    Yes. I’ve heard about scientists using them when studying reactions to sexual themes in advertisements and such stuff.

    Also, that guy’s head is huge… I mean HUUUGGGEEE. Sinestro’s head is big too, but he… carries it well.
