“Never Not Impressive”

In the interests of “equal time”….

Anyone who says male heroes are never, ever objectified simply must read Manhunter #29.

Yeah, that’s the second most deliberate bulge I’ve seen. Couple it with the caption and it’s even naughtier.

Not out of Thor (or Superman, or Wonder Woman) posts. Just felt like something different today.

That’s Al Barrionuevo, no? I’ve noticed a tendency in his art for that sort of thing.

That is a bulge of near David-Bowie-in-Labyrinth proportions.

    Cue the porn music….

Isn’t it usually the pizza delivery boy who shows up with a bulge?

“Man of Steel” indeed! Of course, he just sticks it in her face like that too, just because he can. Pig.

    * Thrusts his mighty super package in her face *

“You wanted to SEE ME, MS. SPENCER?”

And check out that knowing little grin on his face. He loves it when the chicks check out his bulge.

Yes. He is indeed the “Man of steel.” Unfortunately for the ladies, he is also “faster than a speeding bullet.”

Ever see Alex Ross’ drawing of Captain Marvel at the very end of Kingdom Come #3? If I were Superman, I’d be intimidated too.

In fact, Mr. Ross seems to favor the World’s Mightiest Mortal in most every one of his appearances… not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course.
