Playing Cupid

The Titans have dirty mouths.

All this talk of “love arrows” being in “quivers” made me check for the comic code seal.

I think Speedy’s going to be playing cupid for himself later on.

With some vaseline in his room.

  • Gaz

The Titans are also lazy. Did they make Donna fight/rescue this guy by herself while they stood and ogled? Not smart, considering she’s probably more powerful than the 4 boys put together…

  • sackett

Well, Gaz…I’d say it’s her fault the guys are ogling, could those shorts be any tighter??

  • Shiai

Did she use her ponytail to wreck the boat?

  • HellRazor

    quix·ot·ic (kw?k-s?t’?k) Pronunciation Key
    adj.

Caught up in the romance of noble deeds and the pursuit of unreachable goals; idealistic without regard to practicality.

Yep, I think that about describes their chances of scoring with “Wonder Chick” alright.

  • Dierna

Quixotic arrow??? What does that do? Turn monsters back into windmills?? Or does it sing??

*sings* I am Don Quixote the lord of La Mancha….

  • Gaz

I wonder what that sign she’s holding is…

    “Dear Titan boys,
    Bite me.
    Love, Donna.
    XXX”

  • Who, me?

Actually, very few women of any age are probably interested in having sex with someone named “kid flash” or “speedy”. But Aqualad is a promising prospect. Imagine that ladies, a guy that go under for hours at a time.

I should be so ashamed of myself. Lord knows that my parents are.

I love the fact that ‘turns me on’ didn’t use to have a directly sexual meaning. It’s used in the same, milder sense of ‘is very attractive to me’ in the original novel form of Freaky Friday.
    In other words, ring-a-ding-ding.

  • Jon Snow

Wonder chick, you are the most. The most what? Beatifull, annoying,..what exactly? Ring-a-ding-ding indeed.

  • Shiai

I just picked up the second Teen Titans Showcase TPB, and man, there are some all-time classic bad panels in there…quite a few with an awful lot of apparent gay subtext, interestingly enough (fabulous art by Cardy, Kane, Adams and even Wood to enjoy, tho). TL, I hope you get your copy soon! :D

  • HellRazor

If Wonder Chick’s not available I hear Dobbs is looking for a date to tonight’s Student Council Rumble on the beach.

    Meant to add:

Naw, “turns me on” was meant pretty much as what a horny teenager would say. But “you’re the most!’ is just irretrievably awful.

  • Outsdr

The motion line coming from her left foot adds even more innuendo.

  • HellRazor

    That’s a motion line?

I thought Kid Flash was knocking one out at super speed.

  • Megadong

“I thought Kid Flash was knocking one out at super speed.”

    Money shot!

Wonder Girl: “What the-?! Ow, my eye!”
