It’s good to see that it’s not just Marvel and DC that did the “Refer to Women as Females, No Matter How Awkward it May Sound” thing:

Take a shot.

  1. Maniac Doc Says:

    Bottoms up.

I’m not sure why the guy is worried, she’s pointing the gun about thirty feet to his right.

  2. Shiai Says:

“I will shoot, Pop, unless you stop dancing the Twist!”

  3. Dierna Says:

Is that a young Pop Tate of the Choklitt Shoppe fame???

Well at least the lady’s outfit matches the floor…

  4. Naryldor Says:

Yet another crook dressed like a sailor. Did comics writers have anything against them in those years?

I wonder how many bones would be neccesary to break in a normal person to achieve Pop’s pose in this panel.

And yes, martian lights, shadows and perspective are back!

  5. onion3000 Says:

Looks like she’s been hiding in a coal-hole.

  6. madwoman Says:

Yikes! Whoever decorated that room should be shot.

  7. sackett Says:

    madwoman stated:

    Good point, female.

  8. Naked Bunny with a Whip Says:

He probably forgot his words after being stunned by the yellow and black awning that female is wearing.

  9. Rorschach Says:

As freaky William Moulton Marston might have been, I’m very glad he didn’t call his creation “Wonder Female” or, to let it sound better, “Furious Female”!

  10. Dandy Says:

No wonder he can’t keep his balence on that floor…

  11. HellRazor Says:

    “A…A female!”

Yeah, I find them to be a bit scary at times too.

  12. sackett Says:

    A–A female!!

    D–Don’t shoot, Lady…go get me a sammich.

  13. HellRazor Says:

Based on the colors of the room, and the man’s strange stance and attire, and his reaction to seeing her in the room…

I’d say she’s stumbled into a gay bar.
