What Sexual Harris Meant.

Did you know that Diana Prince was the victim of sexual harassment?

S’true.

It was actually a brilliant idea. Diana Prince is attractive, but “weak” due to the alter ego thing. Perfect bait for a predatory male. Not much came of it. Darnell keeps doing it and Diana keeps putting up with his nonsense (unless I missed an issue where she reports him).Still, a brilliant twist on a few Golden Age stories which had General Darnell also smitten with Wonder Woman.

I admit, this is less a WWTT than a “I wish this had panned out in some way.”

How “strong” do you have to be to knee someone in the groin?

What’s a little tongue-kissing to make a female return your love? It’s not like they have feelings of their own.

Wait, this is still the Golden Age WW? Why is she drawn like she’s wearing the latest from the Jaclyn Smith Collection at K-Mart?

And no one’s noticed that both Wonder Woman and Diana Prince wear the same big clown noses as earrings?

No, this is a Silver Age story from WW 279, published in 1981. General Darnell dates back to almost the beginning, though he was a Colonel then. (Sensation #3/1942)

No one noticed when Jem and Jerica did it either. =)

If General Darnell doesn’t know that Wonder Woman and Diana are the same person, she could change to Wonder Woman, beat him up, and not get fired. Let’s see him kiss her with a broken jaw!

When that someone is a well-connected General and you are a government employee its not strength you need. Its stupidity.

Yeah…I’m a little surprised at how un-nerved WW looks in that first panel. I mean, shouldn’t this be more or less all in a day’s work? “Yes, yes, I’m an Amazon goddess, whatever. Can we get back to the subject at hand, now? No? OK then. [thump] [crack]. OK, how about now?”

  • Dave D

Of course, if that were the Wonder Woman from Miller’s latest All Star Batman & Robin, she’d be wearing that guy’s intestines around her neck in the last panel.

I’m honsetly not sure if I’d consider that an improvement or not.

My thoughts exactly. Also, what’s with the natty Rhett Butler mustache? Has anyone worn one of those since 1952 or so?

    Isn’t 1981 Bronze Age?
