If I recall correctly, he’s making a bid to join the JLA and ditch the Metal Men franchise for good. Evidently fan response to his amazing ductile powers was not overwhelming, though, and he was sent back down to the minors. Seriously, he stretched himself straight upward until he was several miles long and a molecule thick. Save it for Brave & the Bold, Dr. Manhattan.
