Something To Go With The Below Picture

As you can see, housework is proceeding apace. I’m impressed by the speed of the workers, and they’ve even found ways to *cut* costs.

Unfortunately, it’s not enough. Looks like everything is going to cost me a bit more than the insurance company wants to pay. And by a bit, I mean oh, a thousand or so. Thankfully I just refied and *have* money for a change (suprise, this isn’t a “hitting up for donations” post). I just had such great other PLANS for that money. Sadness.

I’ve managed to get some reading done this week, and if I get a moment to sit at a desk that’s not at work or doesn’t involve chasing people down about the house, I may have some smart-arse comments to afix and post.

In the meantime, wife, daughter, and soon-to-be-baby-of-unrevealed-gender are all well. School’s almost over for her and then it’s off to camp. Whee.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts, e-mails, and donations (which were totally unasked form you guys rock).

If it's any consolation the showers will be cleaner at camp.

No, somehow I didn't think it would be.

If it was the camp I used to go to, they would be. The showers were pretty clean there.

Sorry to hear about the repair costs. Hope there's some way to defray them.

Ah, camp showers. The one time I actually went away to camp there was a HUGE spider residing in the one shower stall for our cabin. Luckily, I have no problem with spiders because I understand they eat cockroaches, the scourge of SoFla. I had the shower to myself at any time for awhile.

BTW, that shower picture is after the tile, sheetrock, etc. were removed, right?
