This may end up an empty month at this rate!
Seriously though, I have some JLofA and GL panels. Hope to have a post Monday.
Oh and how about the reaction to the events in Ultimate Spider-Man? Loving it.

Pfft. I don’t read comic books. You think I’m some sort of nerd? 😛
I’m not reading the Ultimate series, but I just had to know how Peter Parker dies so I read that number, didn’t like it at all, it was completely anticlimatic, Spidey had taken much worse than that before without little more than an “ouch!”.
As for the new Spiderman being half hispanic half whatever (don’t remember now), I don’t think we’re getting much of a reaction out of it in Spain except for the fact that most people say (and I agree) that it’s hard to imagine the series without Peter Parker, the question now is how long will it take to resurrect him… 😛
Still, I’m curious about where this new turn will take the series.
Don’t know if you’re monitoring your comments, but you seem to have some excitement coming your way. Do not panic. By the time Irene reaches you she should be weakened somewhat. According to NOAA, the sustained winds should only be about 73 miles an hour in New Jersey. We don’t even put storm panels up for winds that slow. Just make sure you are prepared to lose power and water for awhile. Fill up your bathtub so you can flush your toilets. Keep bottled water for other use. Also, DO NOT TAPE UP YOUR WINDOWS. It doesn’t help, and unless you have a lifetime supply of Goo Gone, you’ll never get the adhesive off. The sound of the wind may seem like a nightmare, but the sound is worse than the reality most of the time. Good luck, and I’ll be concentrating on sending good luck in your direction.
Monitoring constantly, Madwoman. Thanks for the concern. Not panicking. Got my yard cleared, trash cans in garage. bottled water etc.
Hoping to have content for September, October the latest by the way.
Good to see your last tweet. I’ve been without a computer all weekend, but hope you and yours are all ok. I also hope you’re not in one of the areas that’s going to flood. If it does, stay out of standing water. People in South Florida just love to electrocute themselves after hurricanes by wandering into standing water where there is a hidden powerline. 2 full weeks after Wilma, a guy in South Miami became a Darwin Award winner trying to move a fallen palm with a backhoe in 2 feet of water. Just be careful!
