This one just bugs me.
1) Why is Batman Scuba Diving in a cape? Why not just put on chains? Fabric gets HEAVY when it’s wet. Plus, there’s the issue of
aquadynamics.
2) Killer whales don’t eat humans. Period.

I’d think that the weirdest thing happening there is a whale happening by to help Batman out. There’s a whole lot of unlikely things going on in that scenario but, seriously, there’s got to be a better chance of the guy having a stroke than a whale just going “you know what? I’m super-hungry. And that guy’s hat looks too pointy to eat.”

No, they don’t eat humans…but they are wild animals that can and have been known to do unpredictable things around humans. Like snatching them and swimming with their ovoluntary passenger before finally letting go.
Does the issue go on to show the whale doing the former? The latter? Is it just forgotten?

Where the heck is Aquaman? For once, a situation has come up where he’d be really useful tohave around, but he’s nowhere to be seen.
Also, Aquaman=No Cape.

This makes perfect sense…if you simply postulate that everything here is happening in a fishbowl. A 747 sinks intact? Surface tension allows a jetliner-size air bubble? Carnivorous fish? A net that could lift an airplane? All plausible at 1/20 scale. In fact, comic book physics in general works a lot better if we assume humans are Mego-sized.
