Hey, Cracked.com Likes My Images

So much so that they used them without a hat tip of any kind.

Sure, my Doctor Fate scans were not scanned by me nor did I write the comic, but if you’re going to take images I selected, cropped etc.  from an article on this site, a mention or link would be classy.

This is not the first time Cracked has done stuff like this. A previous Uncle Scrooge column consisted largely of images (and sometimes text) lifted from Brain Cronin’s Comic Book Legends over at Comics Should Be Good.

FYI, you’re not the only one online who has these images with similar cropping. A quick Google search shows several Is it not possible that someone else could have borrowed them and Cracked got them that way? Or is it even possible that they used their own? Yours are bigger and somewhat higher resolution.

Okay, so you won’t do any more comic post because of some new found guilt over downloading a few comic panels that are over 30 years old or so, fine, whatever. I always thought that your blog was a comics version of the E’s network show, the soup. I just checked in because I have always found your posts hysterical and I wanted to see if you had changed your mind, but I was surprised to see paid blog posts for IDG and Dell instead. I hope you change your mind and go back to posting odd comics soon.
