Oh yeah, there’s the whole “how did getting the ability to see give the Lamplighter the ability to shapeshift”, but I noticed something else.
It took the powers a half hour to wear off… wow, Gloria must have really been concentrating on Ted.
Please tell me women really didn’t go for lines like that.

I don’t get this in the slightest. Everything I have seen from this issue makes absolutely no sense.
Ted looks a lot like a girl. Maybe it’s short for Theodora?
Unless spoken by Shaft, I don’t think women would go for being called “Dreamy Eyes.”
In that case, I’m suddenly much more interested in this comic!
Ted apparantly thinks he’s such a good kisser that he can make trees disappear.
What’s the planet this story takes place on? Apart from the loads of absurdity we’ve had to endure so far, the place must be really really small, just look at the planet curvature in panel 4, I love how our new favorite arch-villain is just about 30 feet away from the happy couple, and they’re already about to disappear behind the horizon!
